Post Event Report

On 24 March 2018, Young ICCA organized a Mentoring Programme Reunion in Vienna. This was the second Mentoring Programme Reunion since the beginning of the Mentoring Programme in 2011. The Mentoring Programme Reunion in Vienna took place on the occasion of this year’s Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition and was kindly hosted and sponsored by Konrad & Partners. It was attended by past and current participants in the Mentoring Programme, including past and current Mentors, Buddies and Mentees.

The Mentoring Programme Reunion in Vienna featured a keynote speech by ICCA Governing Board member Professor Pierre Tercier (Emeritus Professor at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland and Honorary President of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, Paris) on the topic of “The New Generation of Arbitrators”.

To celebrate the end of a successful Mentoring Programme Reunion, a cocktail reception was held at the premises of Konrad & Partners to allow casual networking between the participants.

The Steering Committee for the Young ICCA Mentoring Programme Reunion in Vienna was composed of Ms. Eugenia Mocanu (Junior Associate, Konrad & Partners), Mr. Ivan Prandzhev (Junior Associate, Konrad & Partners) and Mr. Peter Riznik (Associate, Konrad & Partners). The Steering Committee was kindly guided by Young ICCA Co-Chair Ms. Nhu-Hoang Tran Thang, (Associate, LALIVE) and Young ICCA Events Coordinator Mr. Panagiotis Chalkias (Senior Associate, Hanotiau & van den Berg).
