São Paulo Arbitration Skills Training Workshop - October 1
We are pleased to invite you to attend a Young ICCA Arbitration Skills Training Workshop taking place in the morning of 1 October 2015 in São Paulo, Brazil. There are 20 spots available for Young ICCA members to attend the event. The workshop will also be attended by approximately 15 young arbitration practitioners based in Brazil. The topic of the São Paulo workshop is “Drafting Briefs and Memorials in International and Domestic Arbitration”. The faculty of the workshop includes:

VENUE AND DATE – The Workshop will take place in the morning of 1 October 2015 at Fundação Armando Alvarez Penteado - FAAP in São Paulo. It will be preceded by a breakfast at FAAP. In addition, a welcome reception will be organized in the evening of 30 September. Young ICCA has arranged for accommodation in São Paulo for the nights of 30 September and 1 October in a centrally located hotel provided free of charge (room-sharing) for Young ICCA members participating to the Workshop. Each participant is required to arrange their own transportation to and from São Paulo and within the city itself, including incidental expenses. Participants are also responsible for meeting any immigration particulars and visa requirements necessary to attend the event.
APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION – Young ICCA Members are encouraged to apply. Participants will be selected in the following days from those who respond first. The 20 seats available for Young ICCA members cover welcome drinks at the reception of 30 September 2015, participation to the morning session of 1 October 2015 and preceding breakfast, plus accommodation for two nights, from 30 September until 2 October 2015.

YICCA is happy to announce that it is co-organizing a workshop with YCAP during YCAP Fall Symposium. The workshop will be hosted by Borden Ladner Gervais LLP at its Vancouver office, 1200 Waterfront Center 200 Burrard Street on Thursday, 22 October 2015 from 3 to 5 pm followed by a cocktail reception from 5 to 6 pm.
Registration for the YCAP/YICCA Fall Symposium is free for current YCAP and YICCA members, $60 for non-member individuals, and $30 for non-member students. Registration for the YCAP 2015 Fall Symposium should be done through YCAP (details will be sent soon).
