Young ICCA and Young AFSA are excited to present Young ICCA’s flagship skills training workshop “Mastering Written and Oral Advocacy in International Arbitration: Johannesburg Edition”.
This dynamic workshop is designed to provide young arbitration professionals with essential skills and techniques in written and oral advocacy, crucial for succeeding in the competitive field of international arbitration. The event offers an opportunity to learn from leading practitioners and arbitrators, gain valuable insights and experiences, and connect with peers and mentors to expand your professional network within the arbitration community.

12H45 – 13H15 Cross-examination in practice: demonstration by speakers and interaction with audience

There are 40 spots available and participants will generally be confirmed on a first come first served basis.
The accommodation expenses of 10 applicants based outside of Johannesburg will be covered by the sponsors of this workshop. That being said, all participants are expected to bear their costs of transportation to, from and within Johannesburg, as well as incidental expenses. Applicants are further responsible for any necessary Visa arrangements.
Deadline for registration is 13 September 2024. Successful applicants will be notified by email on 18 September 2024, a few days before the workshop on 26 September 2024.
