Peace Palace Seminar on New York Convention

A fourth Peace Palace seminar hosted by Young ICCA and the Permanent Court of Arbitration featured New York Convention expert and ICCA Governing Board member, Professor Albert Jan van den Berg (right in photo).

Covering topics such as the interpretation of the Convention, the meaning of the "writing" requirement for arbitration agreements and the enforcement of annulled awards, the seminar benefitted from intervention by PCA staff members (sharing their varied linguistic expertise in interpeting the French, Spanish, Chinese and Russian authentic texts of the Convention) and other visitors from The Hague and Brussels.
