Gustavo Santos Kulesza elected as Young ICCA Co-chair

We are pleased to announce that Gustavo Santos Kulesza has been elected as the next Young ICCA Co-chair.

Asked about his election, Gustavo said:

This is a priceless opportunity. I feel extremely honored to have been elected as the new Co-chair. The chance to join the Young ICCA team is invaluable – not only for the opportunity to work closely with remarkable professionals but also for being part of Young ICCA's genuine commitment to advancing young lawyers in their international arbitration careers. I cannot overstate how privileged I feel to have been granted this opportunity. I would like to thank everyone who supported my candidacy and voted for me. I will do my best to continue the excellent work that all Young ICCA Co-chairs and the rest of the Young ICCA team have been doing to open the doors of international arbitration for young practitioners.

Gustavo will serve a two-year term as Co-chair alongside Rohit Bhat and Eva Chan.

The two candidates up for election were Gustavo and Paul Kleist, Young ICCA Events Co-director. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate both Gustavo and Paul on being selected as candidates and to thank them for participating in this year’s election.

Gustavo will commence his term on 7 October 2024, succeeding the current co-chair, Shirin Gurdova, who has been an asset to the Young ICCA community over the past two years. We extend our thanks to Shirin for her contributions to Young ICCA activities and wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
